Sabino Canyon Anniversary Photos

Clark and Jasmine were the winners of my mini session giveaway back in the fall, and they decided to use their session to take some early anniversary photos! Sabino Canyon was the perfect location for this anniversary session, with the gorgeous desert landscape, the variety of cactus, and the views of the mountains. Sabino Canyon has long been enjoyed by local residents and tourists for its variety of wildlife and hiking opportunities, and it’s quickly become one of my all-time favorite places to do engagement sessions and anniversary sessions!

These two got married just a couple months before the COVID-19 shutdowns happened, and I’m so glad we got to celebrate their first anniversary with these photos! It was definitely something special after almost a year of having to stay isolated. Clark and Jasmine were so fun to work with, laughing their way through their session and getting some super candid, playful photos! We started out their session at a scenic but secluded area not too far into the park. Then, we went over to a trail that gave us a more open view, with the desert scenery backlit by gorgeous golden light. At the end of their session, we headed back to the original spot to get a few more photos with that glowy evening light. It gave us a lot of variety in their photos, even though we only had a 30 minute mini session!
