It started with a photo that I took of my grandparents. It showed the dynamic of their loving, playful relationship and summed it up in a single photograph. Capturing that photo helped me realize that I wanted to use my love of photography to provide that for other couples, too.
I started seriously pursuing my wedding photography business a year later, and have been privileged to capture these kinds of photos for dozens of couples throughout my career.
I wholeheartedly believe that creating a low-pressure, calm environment on your wedding day and during your engagement session is key. This is how I'll help you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves and get those photos that reflect how you make each other feel without the unnecessary stress that sometimes accompanies being photographed.
I balance giving you the guidance you need to feel comfortable + confident in front of the camera, all while recognizing your connection with each other, letting it take center stage.

Always a toffee nut iced coffee with cream. Starbucks was my first job when I was 17, and I've been hooked on these ever since!
I'm a big time foodie and will eat nearly anything, but if I had to choose, Beef Chow Fun.
Iron Man... and I still have emotional damage from that one.
Psych. Shawn and Lavender Gooms... I mean, Gus... are life.
"she made us feel listened to, comfortable, and taken care of"
Meagan was a blast to have on our vendor team! From our engagement shoot til wedding day, she was always in great communication with us, and made us feel listened to, comfortable, and taken care of! Her photos look elegant, beautiful, candid, sincere. I highly recommend anyone to have Meagan as your photographer for your wedding day. - Chen and Harmony
